Labs register with an institute email and are verified by our team before going live. The principal investigator is responsible for the staff accounts created under the lab.

Terms of use
A plain-language summary of the terms for labs using LACMA. This page will be replaced by the reviewed legal text before public launch.
Credits
Credits recognise surplus passed between labs. They are not money, cannot be bought or cashed out, and have no value outside LACMA. A ₹10 reference value is used only for calculation.
Sharing between labs
Labs are responsible for what they list and hand over, including correct identity, lot, condition and storage of the material. A receiving lab may flag a wrong or damaged item within 48 hours with a photo; credits stay on hold until we decide.
Controlled and hazardous materials
Controlled chemicals, narcotics, precursors, flammables, other dangerous goods and regulated biological materials must not be shared through LACMA except where your institute's rules and Indian law allow, and always with the required approvals. Flammables and cold-chain items are pickup-only.
Acceptable use
Do not misrepresent stock, resell reagents for profit through the network, or use LACMA in a way that breaches your institute's policies or applicable law.
Service and liability
We aim for high availability and publish support response times, but LACMA is provided as a record-keeping tool. The lab remains responsible for the safety, quality and regulatory compliance of its materials.
